Automated Solutions
Get everything you need from Harpak-ULMA, including row alignment and distribution systems. Every piece of our fully automated, end-to-end packaging solutions is designed, installed, configured, and serviced by us. Use automation in conjunction with our flow pack, vertical, thermoforming, tray sealing, and various other packaging technologies to complete your packaging solution.
Primary Packaging
Snack cakes, pastry, bread, pizza, biscuits, crackers, wafers, snack bars and chocolates/sweets. Whether individually wrapped or grouped in multipacks, this market requires top of the line packaging for freshness and appearance. We have solutions using horizontal flow pack, thermoforming and vertical applications.
Flow Wrapping is a common packaging technology for bakery. Developing an understanding of the variables that affect a flow wrap process will help you better design the right solution. Key variables that influence production include product consistency, overall speed/speed variations within the process itself, packaging style, climate, film type(s), and shelf life.
Smart, Connected Machines
Our vision and strategy are founded on a premier partnership with Rockwell Automation, with a focus on building every customer solution based on the Allen Bradley® Integrated Architecture™ controls program. Harpak-ULMA is today transforming its entire portfolio to leverage the power of a singe, integrated and open controls platform. With technology to support a smart-connected enterprise combined with augmented reality, Harpak-ULMA can help set up your packaging operation for the future.
Sustainable Packaging
At Harpak-ULMA sustainability is a key strategic objective, and our solutions reflect that. It means that from the machines we build, to the packaging solutions we develop, a key consideration is how they improve our customers’ ability to cost-effectively protect our natural resources. Proactively reducing environmental impact often generates lower waste and costs for the producer.
Section 179 Tax Deduction
Section 179 of the IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment purchased during the 2020 tax year. That means you can potentially deduct the full purchase price from your gross income. Section 179 is a government incentive available to businesses of all sizes, but with the spending limits in place, is aimed more at small- and medium-sized businesses.
